Authorities Investigating a Grenade Found In Front Of Nagaworld 2

PHNOM PENH: Deputy Governor of Chamkar Mon District, Mr. Ang Serey Piseth, confirmed to EAC News by telephone that authorities are investigating a grenade hidden in a box was found in front of NagaWorld 2 Casino in the early morning of the 15th December 2022.

The Deputy Governor of Chamkar Mon District claimed that at 6 am on December 15, 2022, the garbage collector was collecting rubbish in the park in front of Nagaworld 2 and saw someone placing a box on the ground and leave, the garbage collector reported it to the authorities.

According to Mr. Ang Serey Piseth, when authority’s investigated the mystery box they found a grenade with bad intentions and the authorities are currently investigating this case.

The Director General of the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC), Heng Ratana, confirmed to EAC news that a grenade was detonated by the technical authorities at the site. He also confirmed that no one was injured in this case.
